This is a sweet little bedtime lullaby which you could even encourage your young child or toddler to sing to themselves, or listen to, at bedtime to help them fall asleep. The nursery rhyme is called ‘Yaolangqu’, or ‘Cradlesong’ and the lyrics talk about a mother cradling her baby in her arms and rocking them to sleep. This is a lovely song for your child to learn if they have a little brother or sister and they will learn new Chinese words such as ‘quilt’, ‘sleep’, ‘wake up’ and ‘wish’.
