Welcome to the very first lesson in our online course that has been designed to teach younger children Mandarin Chinese through simple, fun and popular nursery rhymes. All of these songs have been picked because they are loved by Chinese children all over China (and the world!) and because they contain simple but useful words that will give your little one a great foundation on which to build a real and relevant vocabulary in Mandarin. Let’s get started with our first rhyme which will teach children the word ‘shenme’ – or ‘what’.
