This song is slightly longer than some of the others in our learning Chinese online course and it covers themes of love, specifically the price we pay for love. The song’s title in Mandarin is ‘Wo de Daijia’ which literally translates to ‘love’s price’ or ‘the price of love’. This is another popular romantic song in China and it will teach you words that you may not have come across before such as ‘diaoling’ (meaning withered) ‘zhenxin’ (heartfelt) and even the expression ‘windswept and battered by rain.’
