AS104_Olive trees_橄榄树

Continuing with the theme of nature, which you will start to notice occurs quite frequently in traditional Chinese songs, this next song follows on from song number three, ‘Jasmine’, to talk about an olive tree. You’ll definitely learn some new words in this song, such as the Mandarin Chinese for abstract concepts such as drifting and dreaming, while also encountering some that you most likely already know, such as ‘weishenme?’ or ‘why?’ Did you imagine you’d be learning all these new words just through song?
