Ellen Guo
Ellen is the founder of MandarinCore.
With a Bachelor’s degree in Chinese language and literature from Zhejiang University and a Master’s degree in teaching Chinese as a foreign language from Shanghai International Studies University, Ellen Guo has been a professional teacher for more than ten years.
Ellen was a university lecturer for six years, and has been an online Chinese teacher for the past four years. Her philosophy is that the objective of learning Chinese is to systematically master it as a tool to use in real life. She prefers interactive instruction and encourages students to speak Chinese confidently and naturally.
Ellen loves jogging, reading and watching movies.
Lily Zhang
With a Bachelor’s degree in teaching Chinese as a foreign language from East China Normal University, Lily has been a professional teacher for more than six years.
Lily likes to use humorous undertones in a way that boosts her students’ confidence. She is good at creating an active and relaxed atmosphere where students are encouraged to meet, and overcome their challenges.
Lily loves cooking and music.
Anne Liu
With a Bachelor’s degree in teaching Chinese as a foreign language from Shanghai Normal University, Anne has been a professional teacher for more than six years.
With experience in teaching all levels, ranging from beginner to advanced, Anne also teaches a wide variety of people that range from international students and lawyers to doctors, ambassadors and many more. She always brings her enthusiasm for teaching to her classes and we’re sure you will learn Chinese happily and effectively with her.
